Event Details: Official Visitation

Representing the Most Worshipful Grand Master of the Grand Lodge of NH, RW John Bartoszak, DDGM District 5, will visit Catamount Lodge.

Article X VISITATION OF THE DISTRICT DEPUTY GRAND MASTER 

When notified of the intended official visitation of the District Deputy Grand Master, it shall be the duty of the Master or presiding officer of a Lodge to:

1. Convene his Lodge at a time agreed to by the Worshipful Master and the District Deputy Grand Master;

2. Formally receive the District Deputy Grand Master, and suite, as the representative of the Grand Master (instruction for the reception process: see GLM Art VII);

3. Temporarily surrender the governance of the Lodge to the District Deputy Grand Master for the presentation of his program;

4. Demonstrate the ritualistic opening of the Lodge to the District Deputy Grand Master and District Deputy Grand Lecturer; 

5. Submit to the District Deputy Grand Master for his inspection the (see GLC Art XIII.4):

   1. Charter;

   2. Constitution, Rules and Regulations and Manual of Grand Lodge with current revisions;

   3. Form of Petition used for the Degrees and membership;

   4. Current Membership List including: Entered Apprentices, Fellow Crafts, and Master Masons;

   5. Current Lodge Officer List;

   6. Current financial statement in writing;

   7. Current evidence of commercial insurance;

   8. Current Bylaws and Records of the Lodge;

   9. Current Bylaws and applicable records of the associated Building Association

6. When inconsistencies are noted by the District Deputy Grand Master, to work with and make necessary changes to any processes that are not in adherence with the Grand Lodge.
